Cold Seep Structure

An example of petroleum reservoirs illustrated through their expression as seeps.

Cold Seep Structure

Seep field 2

At seep field , there are two adjacent seeps: one sourced from a thermogenic oil and gas reservoir via spill over, and another biogenic seep that results from the breakdown of organic matter without intense pressure or temperature. Although they are close to each other, these seeps have significantly different hydrocarbon and isotopic compositions.

Seep field 1

At seep field 1, there are two adjacent seeps that originate from the same oil and gas reservoir. These two seeps likely have similar compositional and isotopic attributes. This similarity makes it possible to study them together to understand the reservoir's characteristics more thoroughly.
